Full Moon in Virgo

At the Full Moon in Virgo this is not a time for great leaps forward. Virgo is the sign of the Priestess but the mission of Virgo is to bring order from chaos and the best way to do this is with a daily practice. Just sitting in front of your altar every morning, lighting a candle and saying a prayer is an important part of being a Priestess. It is the regular, daily ritual that is important. Three hours of praying once a month is not what is called for. The daily practice calls us back to ourselves, back to our bodies and back to the present moment. In this moment of stillness and clarity it is easier for us to make connection with the Divine. Virgo energy helps us with clearing away what is no longer necessary to us and one of the great virtues of Virgo is discernment. Virgos are very good at knowing what serves and what doesn’t. Tune into today’s Virgo energy and clear away what no longer serves. It doesn’t have to be done in a day. But by doing small steps regularly we establish healthy patterns for ourselves and others.
